Principle 6: Science will prove the Bible, because the Bible is accurate and relative.

The Bible does not call itself a book of Science…

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  John 1:1.  

God created “science”, and through science we will see God; through science we will see God’s laws at work in perfect harmony.   

 Medical Science in the Bible

 ”For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised…”  Genesis 17:12a

It is a routine procedure to circumcise our baby boys within the first couple of days of life.  Babies have naturally low levels of vitamin K at this time (levels are lowest between days 2 – 5).  By the 5^th – 7^th day of life, infants build up enough vitamin K to allow blood clotting which will withstand circumcision. Medical science has discovered that on the eighth day, a blood clotting chemical (called Prothrombin) is elevated far above normal.  Consider the following article written by Apologetics Press…

 On the eighth day, the amount of prothrombin present actually is elevated above one-hundred percent of normal—and is the only day in the male’s life in which this will be the case under normal conditions. If surgery is to be performed, day eight is the perfect day to do it. Vitamin K and prothrombin levels are at their peak. The chart below, patterned after one published by S.I. Today, in the interest of saving time and money, we circumcise our baby boys the first or second day of life.  Had the Israelites done this, their babies would have died.    How could Moses have known?  He didn’t.  God gave Moses specific instructions, just as He gives us today.  Moses heeded Exodus 15:26 (covered in Principle 5).  This is but one of the many examples of Biblical wisdom proven by science. 

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 14:12

  “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”   2 Timothy 3:16
